Introduction and Initial Contact

(Submitted as evidence)

In 1995, while 17, Molly’s mother submitted an audition tape and headshot to a female talent coordinator in Miami. Ray Huizenga (RH) was not the intended recipient but allegedly took the headshot—which featured Molly around age 15—off the coordinator’s desk. After listening to the tape, RH contacted Molly at her job at a recording studio. During the call, he complimented her voice, said she had 'beat out Hootie and the Blowfish' for the Dolphins opener, and flirted with her by asking if she was interested in older men.

Molly had experience dealing with older men in positions of power. She had learned how to deflect inappropriate attention while still protecting her opportunities. Her goal was always clear: to sing, to perform, and to move forward with her talent—without being coerced into romantic or exploitative relationships.

Victim: Molly Skye Brown

Context of Initial Contact

Molly was selected to sing the national anthem at a Miami Dolphins game. This is where she met Ray Huizenga (RH) for the first time. RH admitted he had taken Molly’s headshot from a talent coordinator’s desk and expressed being “smitten” with her before meeting her in person. The day of the first event he approached her lingering until she sang, and after immediately began expressing personal and inappropriate interest, stating he would be in touch.

Subsequent Contact

RH invited Molly to what he described as a “business meeting” or dinner in Fort Lauderdale. Molly’s father, sensing concern, instructed her to take his Porsche rather than her mothers car, to demonstrate she was not isolated or unprotected. The dinner took place at a bar or restaurant, in a private area, with RH and his bodyguard present.

Behavior During Dinner

Before the dinner, RH first took Molly to a Florida Panthers hockey game, a team he owned at the time. During the game, he attempted to get her to drink alcohol. Molly refused, clearly stating that she was underage and had school the next day. Following the game, he took her to a location under the pretense of having dinner. However, no food was ever served at that location. RH kissed Molly without her consent, groped her breasts, and began to try to go under her shirt. When she pushed him off of her, he responded by grabbing her head, pushing it into his crotch, and telling her to give him fellatio. The incident left her in tears. She began crying—it scared her badly. RH’s behavior was not only completely inappropriate but physically aggressive and traumatizing. After the assault, RH instructed his bodyguard to drive Molly back to her father’s vehicle. She was visibly shaken and in tears as she was escorted away from the scene.

Post-Dinner Contact

RH contacted Molly again a few days later and invited her on a weekend trip aboard his private yacht to a Caribbean island. He said the trip would include at least one other couple, framing it as a relaxing group getaway with massages and leisure. Molly declined the invitation. RH attempted to persuade her parents to allow her to go. Her mother was initially supportive, but her father adamantly refused, effectively ending the attempt.

Evidence Retained

Molly has retained handwritten or signed letters on official RH letterhead. She also possesses photographs and documentation proving RH’s ongoing contact and intent to isolate her as a minor.

Summary of Allegation

This series of interactions constitutes a predatory grooming attempt by an adult man in a position of power, directed at a teenage girl. RH used professional opportunities as a pretext to isolate, manipulate, and exert pressure for inappropriate and unlawful contact.
