RISE Justice Labs

RISE Justice Labs is a nonprofit organization that aims to empower survivors of sexual violence and harassment to become leaders in the movement to create systemic change. RISE (Reach, Inspire, Support, Empower) was founded in 2015 by Amanda Nguyen, a survivor of sexual assault and a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.

RISE Justice Labs focuses on:

1. Survivor-led advocacy: Amplifying the voices and stories of survivors to drive policy change.

2. Policy reform: Working to improve laws and policies that impact survivors, such as the Survivors' Bill of Rights.

3. Community engagement: Building a community of survivors, allies, and advocates to support one another and drive change.

4. Education and training: Providing resources and training for survivors, advocates, and policymakers.

RISE Justice Labs is known for its innovative approach to advocacy, using storytelling, art, and technology to raise awareness and drive action. They also provide support and resources for survivors, including a survivor-led advisory board and a network of peer supporters.

By empowering survivors to become leaders and change-makers, RISE Justice Labs aims to create a world where survivors are heard, believed, and supported.
